Physical Security
AWS enforces military-grade perimeter control with:
- Non-descript facilities for enhanced security.
- Multi-factor authentication at three access points.
- Strict access control to all data centers.
Server and Data Security
- Host operating systems are secured by internal processes.
- Guest OS control remains with Aspose; AWS administrators cannot access them.
- Inbound firewall rules block all unauthorized traffic by default.
Backups and Disaster Recovery
- Nightly system backups using full snapshots.
- Periodic backup testing ensures data integrity.
- Encrypted backups stored in Amazon S3, ensuring redundancy across three locations.
- Access logs maintained for audit purposes.
Privacy and Account Security
- Passwords are encrypted and never stored in logs.
- Users must log out after each session and keep credentials secure.
- Any unauthorized access due to user negligence is the user’s responsibility.
Credit Card Security
- No credit card information is stored by Aspose.
- Transactions are processed by PCI-compliant payment gateways.
- Uses 256-bit SSL encryption for secure payments.
GDPR Compliance
Aspose is fully GDPR-compliant.
File Retention Policy
- Aspose products run locally, with no file uploads to Aspose servers.
- Metered licenses report only usage statistics, without storing personal data.
- Support files shared in forums are retained only as long as necessary.
- Private threads ensure files remain accessible only to the customer and Aspose staff.
Service Monitoring and Reporting
- All core and non-essential systems are actively monitored.
