Custom Agreements

Aspose is a technology company focused on building the best software products in the world. To maintain that focus, we have a small business team, allowing us to allocate more resources to developers and support staff. The time and costs associated with negotiating and managing custom agreements are high; therefore, our agreement policies are designed to be more conservative, ensuring we can continue to build better products and services.

Pre-purchase Agreements

Pre-purchase agreements refer to any agreements requested before a purchase is made, such as nondisclosure agreements, evaluation agreements, and similar documents. Aspose is unable to accommodate any pre-purchase agreements. Our End User License Agreement already includes language covering evaluations and confidentiality. The terms of the EULA apply once an evaluation is installed, meaning it may already provide the types of assurances sought in pre-purchase agreements.

Customized License Agreement

Aspose is willing to accept limited changes to our End User License Agreement. All modifications must be made using the Aspose agreement wizard, which highlights specific sections of the license agreement that Aspose is willing to modify. This minimizes negotiation time and helps our clients make efficient use of their resources.

To negotiate a custom license agreement, Enterprise Support must be purchased. More details about Enterprise Support can be found in the support section. If negotiations are unsuccessful, there is no obligation to proceed with the Enterprise Support purchase. Contact the sales team to gain access to the Aspose agreement wizard.

The negotiation of a customized license agreement must be concluded within a reasonable timeframe. If an agreement cannot be reached in a timely manner, Aspose reserves the right to charge an additional fee.

NDA

Section 7 of the End User License Agreement contains NDA-style language. When sharing sensitive content with any Aspose team member, simply include a “Confidential Information” note, and any data or files will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Aspose does not provide additional warranties beyond what is outlined in the End User License Agreement.

Questionnaires and Forms

Aspose has limited administrative resources and, therefore, does not fill out lengthy questionnaires or forms. Whenever possible, we will provide relevant documents or links to our website where you can find the necessary information. If the forms are mandatory for your purchase and we are unable to accommodate your request, we will refer you to a local reseller who can assist with both the paperwork and the purchase of our products on our behalf.
